I LOVE the little house series. You know that I want a farm somewhere (someday). If you were to watch Food Inc, you would see that some farmers in the bread basket want to farm like that too... but they grow what consumers buy - corn for corn syrup. But I see what you mean, they don't know what they're missing.Knocker Boyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02794357915107454110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2030165350839649840.post-43836189834366769292010-01-20T16:32:23.695-05:002010-01-20T16:32:23.695-05:00Allright. If I weren't a monotheist, I think Laura Ingalls Wilder would be one of my gods! Haha. She alone got me through living in Sudan. The team leader's wife there had the entire series and I reread them while living in a hut, with no shower (sponge baths for a month! Ack!), and cooking over a Coleman camping burner for a month. Laura really, truly got me through it. I would read of her family doing all the things they did, with no electricity, and think "Suck it up, Abbie!" Haha.

Anyway--I have a whole cut up chicken in my freezer and I think I know what I'll use it for! Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
